No more ants!

Those greedy little beasts are DEAD!!! They have apparently decided that eating poison is better than not eating. The horde we had in the bathroom yesterday have disappeared and the ones that were in the living room are all dead! Its like a little ant graveyard out there and I'm so happy!

More snow today

We got some good snow today. Its not really sticking but it sure is pretty when its coming down!

My beautiful young lady.

Lori has started doing her hair on her own and she's really gotten good. Check this out:

The ants go marching...

Not one by one but 50 at a time. Rudy bought some ant bait for a colony that has taken up residence in our bathroom and boy do they like this stuff. Hopefully queeny will like it too and then they will all die!!! Aren't ants supposed to be dormant in the winter???

Look what we got...

I know this can't compare to what the East Mountains are getting but it's still cool!

I got a haircut

My hair was getting so long and unmanageable that I just couldn't stand it anymore. I got it cut today. This cut is supposed to be super low maintenance and I'll save lots of money on shampoo!

Bandit got a trim...Rudy did not.

Bandit's beard had gotten so matted that I couldn't stand it anymore and I trimmed it all off. He now officially has less hair on his face than Rudy.

Best Friends Forever

On Thursday we went to see Kelly, my friend from AZ. It just so happens that Kaltyn is best friends in the world with Kelly's daughter Sarah and Matthew is best of friends with Kelly's son Nick. We had a very nice visit. Here are some pictures.

A visit from Uncle Roy

We were delighted for Uncle Roy to have popped in for Samantha's party last night. We had not seen him since we moved to Albuquerque over a year ago. We had a very nice visit and even made plans for him to stop by ABQ in May for a visit.

Parties and fire pits.

Last night we went to Marc and Lorena's for a party. Samantha is one! She fell asleep literally 10 minutes before we lit the candle on her cake!

Earlier in the evening Uncle Ron had all the kids out in the back yard digging a hole for the fire pit later that night. Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

Here are some pictures of my nephew Tyler that were taken a few nights ago. He'll be 2 in May. On this particular night he was sharing an ice cream with his daddy but his daddy wasn't always sharing back.

Jump N Play

We took our kids plus Tyler and Mataya and Logan to Jump N Play in Anthem. We had a blast and even some of the grownups got in on the fun. I'm going to take my first stab at uploading video and hope its not too big. Enjoy!

We Made It!!!

We finally made it to Arizona. We left at 5am this morning and arrived at Nana's house just before noon. The kids are thrilled and happy to be here and so are we. My hips are sore and Rudy and I are absolutely exhausted but we're here and now the recovery can begin. LOL Nana went and picked up Valerie and Vanessa this afternoon so they are here playing now. We are expecting Ron and Sara and the kids around 8pm tonight. Here are some pictures of the kids playing.

Two more sleeps until we leave for Arizona!!!

The kids are growing very excited about going to Arizona for a vacation. We go every year in January as a time to catch up with family and friends that we left behind. I am planning to keep my blog updated with pictures and posts while we're there since I'll have my laptop with me but no promises. We are leaving on Wednesday and returning the following week. We plan to visit some friends, go back to the school the girls attended while we lived there and also hope to see AZ Science Center's Titanic exhibit while we're there. I can't wait to see my friends and just relax! I'll see you soon!

Its been a while...

I know I haven't posted in a while but I've been sick. Not fun when pregnant. Anyway, here's a 22 weeks picture for you all to see. The most significant growth I noticed this week was my hair. It has gotten very long and very straight. You'll see what I mean. Have a nice day!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe how quickly 2008 has come upon us. We stayed home and had a nice quiet evening with my parents, Mike David and Aislin. Once again I did not think to get any pictures of the kids because they stayed up stairs most of the night but I did get a few of Matthew. As you can see in these pictures, Matthew had his best face on for the camera. He was crawling around acting like a puppy.
