Lori got a booboo

So yesterday while Lori and Matthew were helping me fix lunch, Matthew dropped a freshly opened can of Menudo on the floor. It was empty but the lid hit Lori on the toe and gave her a tiny cut. In a sheer act of panic, Lori flung her other foot across and the same lid rolled under her other foot and basically fileted it. It looked like more of a cut than I could fix so off we went to urgent care.

Urgent Care was pretty empty thank goodness. We were second in line and because of the nature of Lori's injury they took us back first. Long story short, Lori got 9 stitches. She was a real trooper and was excited to have a doctor who was a huge Star Trek fan and even knew who the Borg were.

A dancing cutie

I got Gabe in a dancing mood today. He even kept dancing when I pointed the camera at him.

Here is our yarn koala

Matthew and I made this from a Michael's craft kit. I think it turned out pretty cute and we learned something too. You cannot glue yarn to yarn using elmers glue. It just soaks in.

New toys in the house

Rudy's mom and dad sent him this rachet set for his birthday. The kids had a blast helping him put all the pieces in place according to the numbers.

Lost video

I had never seen this video until today. It is a video that Devi took the day we got our keys to this house in Albuquerque. I had to share it because it shows that at some point this house really was totally clean and also because its fun to see how much everyone has grown. Hard to imagine our life without Gabriel but he wasn't even born when this was taken.
