Baby Blue Eyes

Well he's almost 10 months old and they're still blue. Yay! He's been sick and has an ear infection so he looks a little tired in this photo but those bg blues stll melt me like butter.

So Gabriel LOVES chocolate. While its no surprise as much as I love it, t was still cute to watch him devour an almond cream chocolate from my Valentine's candy box. Here is a video for you!

Our new friend

On Friday we drove to Taos and picked up a new friend for our family. Her name is Rain Blossom, just Blossom for short. So far she's doing great with us. She loves to chase Bandit around the yard and to sleep and chew. Typical puppy I suppose. She is only 11 weeks old so don't let the photos fool you.

So let me give you a little background. Joe (my stepdad) had come by to drop off Rudy's car after doing some work. We needed a part so Joe and I came into the office to look it up on the computer. Gabe meanwhile was out in the living room with Rudy. He has now figured out how to move the gate and escape. So Rudy calls to me with just a bit of panic in his voice and tells me to hurry. Ienter the living room to find this:

Sleeping like an angel

So many of you know that I've been having a lot of trouble with Gabe not sleeping through the night. Well last night was no exception. He wakes frequently and refuses to go back to sleep unless i nurse him. Needless to say, I AM EXHAUSTED! Apparently so is he. Here is a photo of him on a pile of blankets in the living room this morning...

She did it again!

Sunday Katlyn had another horse show. She was in two classes and did great. She took first place in her first class and third place in her other class. We had a lot of fun. Pretty soon Katlyn will have to compete in the next level of classes because she will no longer be considered a novice rider.
