BAD customer service

Bad service #1

So today I went to Wendy's with Lori and Katlyn. I ordered 3 frosty's with mix-ins and a chicken sandwich combo. The order took a long time to fill and when the clerk handed me the bag it had 3 forks in it. He then began handing me the frosties. They were liquid. I mean soup frosties. So I showed him the forks and he said sorry we're out of spoons. I said oh and he asked me to wait a second so I did. He came back with 3 spoons that he had retrieved from the lobby. When he returned I explained that the ice cream was very soft. He looked me right in the eye and said, "Yeah, I know, but the machine would take a really long time to finish." Are you kidding me???? First you don't bother to tell me that you're selling me crappy ice cream but then you give me a fork to eat my milk soup with?????

Bad service #2

Many years ago, Rudy and I were out shopping on a hot summer day in Arizona. We stopped in at a McDonald's for drinks and I ordered a large lemonade and Rudy ordered a large coke. They handed me the drinks and my lemonade was warm and had very little ice in it. I took it back to the counter with the lid off and asked for more ice. The young lady behind the counter looked at me with a perplexed smile and said, "It's full I can't fit any more ice in it. What do you want me to do?" Are you kidding me??????I looked right into her space cadet eyes and said, well dump out some of the lemonade!

Bad service #3

So when Devi was younger we were shopping for a bike for her. We had been many places and decided reluctantly to try our hand at Walmart. We called an associate over to help us and asked him some questions. One of our questions was if we could return the bike if it were broken or the wrong size. His response? "Oh sure ma'am. People return these all the time!". Seriously??? Did he really just say that?

Can I just whine a little?

So today is the filing deadline for NM State Taxes for businesses. So I got online this morning to file mine and found out that they have completely revamped their site since July when I filed the last time. I was excited since the site was not that great to begin with. So first of all, the new site is confusing and NOT user friendly. Second of all, once I finally figured it all out and got to the actual filing form and hit submit I got this



How lame is that???

My New Slippers

Most of you know that I've been looking for new slippers for several weeks now. Just after Christmas I was making dinner and I spilled canola oil on my old pair. Well I spilled it ont he floor and then accidentally stepped in while cleaning it up. So anyway, they were so old that the bottoms were all open like a big sponge and soaked up a TON of oil. I decided to just throw them away. I'm a little particular about my slippers. I don't like my toes covered and I like the back open too. I've searched and searched and finally today found a pair of Dear Form slippers that fit my tastes perfectly! I know this seems like a silly thing to blog about but here is a photo of my new pink slippers.

Not mine. I wish it was. We are setting up a new camera that belongs to a friend of ours. We took these photos today. Its a very nice camera and takes exceptional photos.

Times passes quickly

I feel like it was just yesterday I was whining and complaining about being miserably pregnant and then he was here and I was overjoyed to have this amazing little boy in my life. Now he's almost 9 months old. He's extremely mobile. He's entertaining us daily and I cannot believe how much he has changed. Here are two photos to compare then and now. By the way, his eyes are STILL blue! I thank God daily for this amazing blessing he's given us.

Building a contraption

So, Matthew is my first boy. Boys are a new thing for me since my first three kids were girls. Sweet, clean, non-destructive girls. So Matthew is NOT any of those things except sweet. He is incredibly sweet. Which is why I could not say no when he asked me to help him build a contraption. Check it out

I HATE Mondays!

Let me tell you a little story. Today while driving home from the store, uphill on a route I often travel, I was pulled over by a lovely police man. I will not mention his name but I do not like him AT ALL. As I was travelling up this hill I had set my cruise control at approximately 58 mph. The speed limit in this area is 55mph. He pulled me over from his travels in the other lane of oncoming traffic. Now I know that these fancy cop cars are very high tech but come on. There were cars in front of him in his lane going much faster than I was going, uphill with my cruise set at 58.

So he walks up to my window and says, did you know you were speeding? I said no sir, I have my cruise control set at 58. He says no ma'am, I clocked you at 66. Can you even believe that???? Sixty six miles per stupid hour going UPHILL!!! Can you imagine the revving my engine would be doing at that speed????? Anyway, he processes the ticket and comes back to me. He tells me that he'll only give me a warning for the speeding but he's going to make me go to court because my insurance card expired 2 weeks ago. I could have kicked myself.

That is my rant for today. I think by tomorrow morning I may be over this but maybe not. This is not the kind of thing I need on a MONDAY!!!
